Innovative Program Leadership

Brought in to bridge collaboration between operations and sales, I developed the company’s linguistic review service. I drove implementation of thebigword’s first FAANG customer program. The program set the stage for several other successful service lines with the same customer, resulting in revenue growth of up to $5M over two years.

The Opportunity

Thebigword, primarily a translation company, was awarded a linguistic review program across 45 languages, requiring design and implementation of new workflows and tools customized to client requirements. The establishment of a specialized pool of linguists was essential. Operating under a high-touch model, the program had to adhere strictly to client quality standards while ensuring profitability. Implementation was scheduled for completion within the initial 12 months of the contract.

My Role

I led the program team, supported by a team of 4 pms, 3 recruiters and 4 software developers. I was the owner of client relationship and program quality and personally created quality and productivity workflows. I joined the project in the first 3 months of implementation and saw it through 10 subsequent quarters of delivery.
